The WristCare Nurse Call system is a complete system to support residents and staff in ExtraCare schemes and Nursing Homes. It integrates with other building systems eg phone, access and cabling giving an elegant installation.

WristCare uses Class 1 Radio transmitters and Receivers.

1. Alarms	Same as the WristCare Home System
2. Activity Alerts	Can be configured to send an alert if the person gets out of bed at night or sleeps too long during the day.
3. Wandering Detection	Those specific residents or people suffering with dementia can use a special WristCare that sends an alarm if they go through specific doors or into a restricted area.
4. Home Systems	The Nurse Call System can receive Wellness Data from Home Systems allowing staff to support clients off site. eg Day Centre clients at night.
5. Flexible Infrastructure	The Nurse Call System can be designed as a single system, or as a “hub and spoke”. This is especially relevant for ExtraCare schemes.
6. Phone systems – additional features	Alarms can be sent to staff via any phone system, using fixed or wireless handsets. We can supply a new phone system, or work with existing installations. WristCare Nurse Call therefore includes Door Entry, Direct dial extensions (DDI), voicemail to wireless or desk phones; separate systems are not needed.
