The Wellness Data
produced by WristCare gives a daily indication as to the wellbeing
of the user.
As a validated way of monitoring Lifestyle, it is already
used by thousands of people across Europe.
|
Wellness Data is person centric and the information is therefore
not distorted by visitors or multi-occupancy.
Wellness Data is sent over the normal telephone
from WristCare Home Systems and received on a central computer
system. The data is then uploaded onto a secure internet site
that can be accessed by any PC connected to the internet. Of course,
user name and password are required however no information held
on the internet site can be used to identify the user.
The Wellness Data produced by a WristCare Nurse Call System is
provided on site via the Vista System Control.
Wellness Data is simple to master; it takes only 1 hour to learn
how to use it and we provide all the necessary training.
Wellness Data from Home Systems is delivered
to staff via the Client Login section of this web site. No special
software is needed: if you are reading this, you can access it
right away. Staff, carers and clients can all access the data
as appropriate. This is the Web Wellness Data Service.
This service gives an indication as to how well your client has
been for the last 10 days. The Data is updated every 4 or 24 hours
depending on what is needed for the particular service. Historical
data is also shown enabling a comparison and hence the awareness
of longer term trends. For example Wellness Data from 3 months
ago is very useful to a Community Matron or Social Services Care
Manager.
Vivatec provides all the necessary training including on going
Wellness Data Reviews. These reviews ensure each locality can
learn from the other localities using the service, and helps the
teams using it to become more proficient and hence effective.
This ongoing partnership between Vivatec and our customers has
been the key to successful mainstreaming of WristCare.
Wellness Data Alerts are generated automatically
when a person’s wellbeing changes, for better or for worse.
The changes are measured over a period of days, weeks or months
as needed. Alerts are sent by text message or by email, whichever
is preferred.
Vivatec helps define specific protocols to be used for an individual
or across a whole caseload. Within that protocol, staff can set
limits for each client. For example:
-
Client has become statistically less active
over 6 months
-
Wellness over the last 36 hours indicates
an infection
-
Activity patterns indicate that a person
with dementia is getting worse
Alerts allow staff to “risk stratify”
Clients or Patients as below:

Managing
a Larger Case Load Staff
can focus their time on the most vulnerable clients in their
case load knowing that the Wellness Data Alerts will notify
them in the event of a client’s deterioration and
a potential crisis. |
